Brother Fambro, you are entitled to your opinion, and it shall get full publicity in your journal. Though we have a good circulation among the American Blacks and the publishers of our book in America, DALIT – The Black Untouchable of India, are also Blacks, we have not heard so far, any such criticisms that DV is pro-Muslim. We have in our library four rows of Black Books presented to us by so many Black scholars from USA and Africa. No book has made such a criticism against Muslims or Islam. Malcolm X, considered the greatest hero of American Blacks, was a Muslim. All angry Blacks in America bear Muslim names despite not being Muslims. That Muslims have enslaved and murdered Blacks, is a charge we are hearing for the first time. This is the position of Blacks in America.
In India, about 90% of the Muslims are converts from the Black Untouchables and we have close ethnic solidarity with them. Islam is the only religion which condemns racism and gives no room for racial discrimination. We were the pioneers of Dalit-Muslim unity. Both Muslims and Dalits are oppressed by the Brahminical racists whom we fight together. If this is our stand on Muslims and Islam, Brother Fambro, who is our family member only since about two years, has completely overlooked our bitter criticism of Muslim leadership in India and outside. The entire elite Muslims of India are furious with Dalit Voice.
Our supporters are the poor Muslims who form over 90% of Indian Muslims. No journal in India has criticised the elite Muslims as we have done. Our criticisms are all on record in DV. Yes. These angry Muslims are saying that DV is anti- Muslim. But you are saying we are pro-Muslim. In the last few months, we had to strongly take up the Muslim cause because of zionist-sponsored American attack on Iraq in the interest of defending the Israeli aggression on Palestine, a Muslim country:
