To many of us it is the moment of joy that Mayawati and BSP put 19 members in Parliament. Let us compare BSP’s success with all the other “national” parties of the rich, very famous and inheritors of GINS and wealth. Look at the top ten:

145 Congress is over 125 years old, funded by billionaires like Dalmiaya, Birla and Goenkas. Elite leaders like Tilak, Nehru and Prasad, Sens and alike.
138 BJP 80 years old. Nurtured by the Brahamin class who sucked the blood of the Dalits. Backed by the cadres like RSS and 50 years back just 1 seat in Parliament.
43 CPM. Name is communists but blood is Brahmin, keeping the statusquo of so to say upper castes. Suck the blood of the poor and enjoy power.
36 SP. The rich and caste numbers is their game. They are as old as the Congress having defected under magic of JP and Lohia. Cousins of the Congress
20 RJD are not different from SP cadre, caste identity and muscle power.
19 BSP born after the crusades of Babaseheb. hardly 25-year-old. No money, no land, followers live hand to mouth. With the message “Educate, agitate, organise’ they reached this level in a short time and became a force to be reckoned with. We are 6th from the top.
Comparing the age, resources, education and media support one must honestly admit that Mayawati (and BSP) is doing well, and next one or two elections will head for Delhi though not alone but certainly with political alliances.
