Trivandrum: The Supreme Court in a historic verdict on 1.4.91 directed the Syndicate Bank to implement reservation in the officer’s cadre up to the scale of top management – scale Vila within 3 months from 1978 onwards. This decision is a milestone in the history of reservation to SC/ST in the country. All other banks will be forced to implement this order soon, apart from all govt. undertakings, financial institutions and departments.
While bank employees were looking hopefully to see this decision being implemented, the bank’s Gowd Saraswat management has again moved the court seeking some “clarifications” to delay its Implementation. It is taking all steps to see that this decision is not implemented.
Toilet papers: They have approached the Govt. to quash the Supreme Court order to save the brahminical social order.
During the last two months “national dailies” (even your name “toilet paper” will be too much for these papers) are spreading the news that “banks will be denationalised”. This is a deliberate conspiracy to sabotage the Supreme Court order. If the banks are denationalised the concept of “private management” will come in and the whole power will pass into the hands of Hindu nazis. Then they can stop all reservation. They may even enact laws to throw out all SC/ST employees from the banking industry. All SC/STs and BCs should react sharply to this new concept of “privatisation of banks”. They should even offer their blood to stop this conspiracy against all SC/ST/BCs of this country, unite and demonstrate their power soon. If this is delayed, it will be too late for them. Their dream of becoming an executive in a bank will never come true.
