After the first operation to remove tumor for brain cancer (meditation), | now want to do the second operation to remove the blood cancer, meaning the false literature from Budhism. (DV June 1, 2001, p.9: “Vipassana is Hindu poison meant to kill Budhism’). Our Ambedkarite-Budhist intellectuals must rethink scientifically to understand Budha and his movement of social transformation. Did *Budha invent a toothless Budhism to become prey of “every oppressors/enemies? Why Budha said: “Dhamma itself is the safeguard for Dhamma”. Why is Brahminism crushing every Dhamma that comes in its way?
Bhadant Anand Kaushalyayan said:
“Abhidhammapitak definitely is not the time of Budha, it was written after the second sangiti.
This proves the first attack on Budhist movement of tsocial transformation. From the very beginning after the mahaparinibban of f the Budha, the spirit of Budhism was killed andthe yogic dhyan (tumor) in the guise of samadhi/meditation/ Vipassana and Brahmnic karma Vad incorporated into the original Budhism.
At the time of the second sangiti, thousands of cunning Bhikkus were exiled from the sangha. Samrat Ashok also exiled 60,000 crooked and cunning bhikkus from the sangha and punished many more. in the first sangiti, there were only vinay pitak and sutta (dhamma) pitak. The Third Abhidhamma Pitak was not part of original Budhism. It was the compromised part that was added to the original Budhism to divert the mind of missionary bhikkus towards the imaginary world of yogicdhyan which leads to
hypnotic world and to support the Brahmnic karmawad and rebirth (without atma) in guise of Abhidhamma. Later, all sorts of Budhist false literature developed on how to become arhat, bodhisatva, Buddhatva, Nibban etc. and not for the liberation of the common, suffering people and the solution of their problems.
Yogawachar Bhumi of Asang, Abhidhammkosh of Vasubhandhu and Vishuddhi Marg of Bhuddaghosh is nothing but the renovation of Patanjali Yogsutra and Yogicdhyan to reach the hypnotic world. All this Budhist literature has locked the mind of Budhist students and converted them like our S.N. Goenka, Rajnish and their supporters. Anand Kaushalyayan called all these philosophies “absurd” like the modern advertisement. Rahul Sankrityayan also criticised Dharmakirty, the chief of the Naland University, for neglecting the injustice, inequality, tyranny, exploitation, discrimination existing in the society.
“Charak Charikam, Bahujan Hitay Bhikkhawe Bahujan Sukhay”. This object of the Budha in creating the Bhikku was killed by introducing Abhidhamma in original Budhism. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar said: “Budha never resorted to the superhuman or the miracuious in propagating his Dhamma”. How Budha had preached the whole Abhidhamma to his dead mother Mahamaya (who died after the seventh day of Siddhartha’s birth) for three months in Traystinsh Indralok and at the same time show miracle under Gandamb Tree in Vaishali before lakhs of people where Sariputta listened to all the Abhidhamma by divine power (Riddhibal)? All this is a fallacy. This proves the infiltration of Brahminic concepts into Budhism.
- AMBEDKAR’S QUESTION
Dr. Ambedkar raised four problems in his introduction to the Buddha & His Dhamma. No intellectual Budhist of the world touched the 3rd and 4th baffling question on which the future of Budhism rests. He asked:
“In what sense did the Buddha use the words karm and rebirth? Did he use them in a different sense than the sense in which they were used by the Brahmins of his day?”
Dr. Ambedkar was the only person throughout the history who thoroughly explained the rational and scientific meaning of the karma and rebirth (Buddha & His Dhamma) but all the Bhikkus in the world and including writers Sankrityayan upheld the Brahminic karma and rebirth.
ROLE OF BHIKKUS
This is the first reason for the continuous defeat of Budhism. Because they found injustice, tyranny, exploitation, poverty, casteism and every fault in their past karma. How cunningly Brahmanwadis injected this poison philosophy into Budhism.They introduced yogic dhyan in the name of meditation, Vipassana, kasin technique.
The fourth question which Dr. Ambedkar raised related to the struggle of the oppressed. He asked:
“What was the object of the Buddha in creating the Bhikku? Was the object to create a perfect man? Or was his objective to create a social servant devoting his life to the service of the people and being their friend, guide and philosopher? This is a very real question. On it depends on the future of Budhism. If the Bhikku is only a perfect man, he is of no use to the propagation of Budhism because though a perfect man he is a selfish man. If on the other hand, he is a social servant he may prove to be the hope of Budhism. This question must be decided not so much in the interest of doctrinal consistency but in the interest of the future of Budhism.
Are today’s bhikkus social servants? What are they doing to solve the problems of SC/ST/BCs — the Bahujan Samaj? Rajnish, Goenka, Trilokya Buddha Mahasangh and all other Vipassana meditation centres have cut themselves off from the task of social transformation due to the menace of poisonous literature generated after the first sangiti.
That is why Babasaheb warned the Budhist Sasana Council of Burma that:
“In regard to the preparation of Buddha’s gospel care must be taken to emphasise the social and moral teaching of the Buddha. | must emphasise this. But what is emphasised, is meditation, contemplation and abhidhamma. This way of presenting Budhism to indians would be fatal to our cause”.
The whole Budhist literature talks only about moral—shil (ethical) reformation but never about social reformation and elimination of racial (caste) discrimination. The prajnya (buddhi) is used to make us go into trance (samadhi), nibban or Buddhatva but not for the social transformation to eliminate injustice, tyranny, casteism and exploitation.
DON’T MAKE BUDHISTS COWARDS
No rational Budhist can deny the fact that traditional Budhism supports Brahminism and the traditional Budhist literature is not of any use to fight against Brahminism.
Knowing the cunningness of Brahminism, Budha deliberately preached the kalam sutta. According to Budha’s kalam sutta, those who do not discard unscientific, superstitious and harmful doctrines/thoughts found in’ Budhist literature can never be true Budhist.
Only the Ambedkarite Budhism represents the Ambedkar mission if preached, practiced and worked properly by maximum section. Then only the Bahujan Samaj can Kkill brahminism.
Don’t make Budhism a religion of cowards, vegetarians and non- violence.
Take note of Vasant Moon’s warnings to intellectual Budhists. He warned:
“Many writers wrote many books “*4 without the deep study of Budhism personally. All these literatures must be examined critically on a micro level.”
