On the occasion of “Jai Bhim Mela” held at Bhilai some Budhist workers distributed pamphlets of “22 Pledges” prescribed by Dr. Ambedkar. A BJP leader criticised these workers for this. One Mahar family called a Christian missionary to his home. Some Budhist (Mahar) worker complained against the Christian missionary to the same BJP leader who brought police and threatened the Christian missionary. Our Budhist workers are playing mischief against their own caste brothers.
In Mahasamund (Chhattisgarh), four tractors and Christian religious books kept in a house was set on fire on Oct.1. 2003 by some Hindu nazi workers led by Dr. Vimal Chopra. Four sweepers were arrested. The Hindu nazis honoured these sweepers.
But Chandrabhan Prasad wants to punish these Dalit sweepers but excuse the criminal Hindu nazis who instigated them. When CBP asks:
“How can you fight Bush if he sends his army to kill Dalits of India unless you defeat his army, White or Black?” (DV Oct.1, 2003 p.17).
Discard vaidik gods: CBP perhaps does not know the unthinking BCs are the army of upper castes. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has said if you want to destroy the caste system cut its roots, hit the head of the snake and not its tail. Who is right, Dr. Ambedkar or CBP?
CBP says:
“If at all you wish to punish Brahmin, you have to punish the shudra first”. (DV Oct.1, 2003 p.17).
Where are the shudras among today’s Hindus? All those shudras, who were brought into the fourth varna, had been wiped out by the Brahmins. They created a god out of Krishna to deceive the BCs. How could a god take birth in lower (Yadava) caste? To fool the entire BCs and Dalits, the Brahmins manufactured two cock and bull stories, the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Only when the Dalits and BCs discard these two vaidik-created gods, Rama and Krishna, the Hindutva movement will die a natural death.
The need is to create awareness among Dalits and BCs – not to make them fight each other. Stooges among Dalits and BCs may support the Hindu nazi movement but without the unity of Dalits and BCs, Ambedkarite movement will never succeed. Some individuals among Dalits and BCs may commit atrocities against each other. Both should be punished by the court of law. But the truth is Dalits and BCs are the principal persecuted nationalities denied human rights by the Brahminical society and hence they are not the enemy of each other.
