The first report of conversion comes from Kurnool. Two caste Hindus, Balaramudi, 20, a weaver, and Yeila Goud, 39, Ediga., of Joharapuram, Kurnool town, have embraced Islam changing their names to Abdullah and Yousuf Mia respectively. All members of their family have changed their names too. Similar reports from other parts of the State are also coming (Deccan Herald – Aug. 18).
