Fishermen Warn Kerala Govt

GOA: Matanhy Saldhana, president, National Forum for Catamaran & Country Boat Fishermen’s Rights & Marine Wealth, has urged the Kerala Govt to ban all trawling operations during fish-breeding season of monsoon and thus help lakhs of traditional fishermen of Kerala and particularly those of Trivandrum district. The Forum is shocked that the CPM Government of Kerala has begun a slander campaign against the just and peaceful movement of the poor fishermen.
