WANTED DALIT-MUSLIM UNITED FRONT
The self-proclaimed messiah of the Muslims, the ‘Shahi’ Imam of Delhi’s Jama Masjid, Syed Abdullah Bukhari, is up to his old dirty tricks once again. In the wake of the tragic destruction of the Babri mosque and the consequent widespread anti-Muslim violence, the Imam has arrogated to himself the role of official advisor to the Muslims, ordering them to “observe restraint” and to remain “peaceful”.
It is true that peace is a noble thing. The word “Islam” means ‘peace’ in Arabic. However, the peace that the Bukharis of this world so ardently advocate is nothing but pure class collaboration and a shameless surrender before the forces of organized Brahminical fascism.
Peace at what cost: We, who have been the victims of violence for millennia, are naturally most anxious that peace should prevail. But advocating peace in the presence of unimaginably cruel Nazism and vast socioeconomic disparities can only lead to the further strengthening of these inequalities and oppressive conditions. In this situation, therefore, peace can hardly be hankered after as the Imam is unfortunately doing. Peace should not be regarded as an end in itself. It ought to be pursued only as a means to a higher end – a more satisfying life for individuals and groups in society.
Anti-human strategy: If advocating peace prevents this by denying the possibility of revolt against oppression, peace can be sidetone an anti-human strategy employed by the oppressors to preserve their hegemony Peace cannot be a one- way traffic. He can’t advice only the Muslims to be peaceful as the Brahminical forces are violently attacking us.
It is in recognition of this obvious fact that Islam has provided for fighting against oppressors and oppression so that peace or ‘Islam’ can be established.
What Quran says: As the Quran (chapter X! I verse 39) states:
“To those against whom war is made, permission is given to fight because they are wronged. And truly Allah is most powerful for their aid.”
But needless to say, the Bukharis and the other lackeys of the Brahminical rulers will never choose to follow what the Quran ordains by organizing the Muslims and the oppressed Dalits on Islamic lines. The destruction of the Babri mosque has forced Bukhari to speak out, but the only thing he chooses to do is to advocate fatal passivity in the name of peace.
Merchant of votes: This he does because he clearly sees the Muslim masses seething with anger against the ruling upper castes with whom he enjoys an intimate relationship, thanks to his role of power-broker and merchant of Muslim votes.
The Bukharis and other such ivory tower ‘maulvis’ were incapable of protecting the mosque because they refused to recognize the obvious fact that Muslims can be safe only If they can unite with the oppressed ‘lower’ caste majority who, too, are victims of Brahminism, the Rama cult, and ¢ the fake socialism of the Brahminical Congress Gandharans.
Instead, these self-appointed “Muslim leaders” sought to tie themselves to the apron-strings of the “upper caste political outfits, which in the end, dumped them along with the Babri Masjid in the most uncramp nous manner.
Attack on Jama Masjid: But the Bukharis of the world ought at least to know that those who, like them, d not learn from history are condemned to repeat it. Having tasted blood after destroying the Babri mosque the Hindu nazis are now demanding that Delhi’s Jama masjid, Bukhari’ very own castle, be demolished. Perhaps the ‘Shahi Imam’ will still be sleeping in royal splendor, dreaming dreams of ‘peace’ and collaboration with the oppressors even when his own little fiefdom is under attack Verily, the ruling brahmin ice forces could not have got a mor faithful follower, loyal lackey a passionate peace-monger the Syed Abdullah Bukhari.
Karma theory: Such loyal slaves their Brahminical masters are some of our ivory-tower ‘imams’ an ‘maulvis’ that instead of attacking the oppressors for their violence on the Muslims and the destruction ¢ the mosque, they tell the masse that the mosque was demolished only because Allah was angry with them for not praying (namaz) regularly: a classic case of the oppressed accusing themselves for their ow oppression. Muslim religious leak reaccusing Muslims themselves for religious leaders is nothing but crude imitation of the karma the or the Brahminical religion.
Prayer alone not enough: we drank recognize that prayer (namaz) is an indispensable part of Islam, but prayer alone will not suffice. Prayer, beret. of social action, degenerates into ‘ the crassest hypocrisy and charlatanism.
For the masses, struggling against oppression is indeed the highest form of prayer.
Nothing could be more pleasing in the sight of Allah than prayer in the form of struggle against oppression and not merely muttering of a few Quranic verses like magical ‘mantras’ without being even remotely aware of their sublime and revolutionary meaning.
But it is precisely this most supreme form of prayer – prayer as struggle – to which the Bukharis of this world are most stridently opposed.
There are some Muslim groups who might talk of struggle, but who, in fact, merely make a livelihood mouthing seemingly radical slogans. They cannot succeed unrealizing the irradicably goals simply because their very foundations are flimsy.
Identify the enemy: A movement against oppression can succeed only if the enemy is first clearly identified. In the present-day Indian context, the principal contradiction is obviously the ruling, oppressive Brahminical social order (BSO) which is a tiny minority of less than 15%. The oppressed castes, nationalities and communities are squeezed lo death by the BSO.
The so-called ‘radical’ Islamic groups, being totally bereft of any sociology- Cal sense, cannot recognize this fact. ~ For them the enemy is the ‘lack of prayer’. Having been closeted within the four walls of their mosque and madrasas, they naively imagine that incessant chanting of prayers – in typical Brahminical fashion-can relieve them miraculously of all their woes. This is nothing but the repetition of the hated karma theory that has kept the vast Shudras and SC/ ERT in thrall – in them for get their oppression. The Brahminical Muslims are imitating the Brahminical forces to keep the Muslim masses under their thumb.
Dalit – Muslim alliance: There are yet others who either imagine that all non-Muslims (including Dalits) are their foes, or that the Muslims can fight oppression alone without having to ally themselves with other oppressed groups. Needless to say, they are being quite unrealistic and even un-Islamic. Islam advocates that a true Muslim should struggle on behalf of all the oppressed of the world – a vast category which includes the non-Muslim ‘lower’ castes as well.
As the Quran (chapter IV verse 75) asks:
‘And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated and oppressed?”
United front: And itis only through. a united front of all the ill-treated and the oppressed – the Muslims, Dalits tribals and Backward Castes – that the twin forces of Brahminical fascism and Brahminical, Gandhi an, congresses fake socialism can be defeated, destroyed and finally buried forever.
Final warning: Affinal word of warning to this Muslim religious leadership. The Koran has specifically said that the oppressed Muslims can liberate themselves. Their liberation is in their hands. They can’t blame others for their suffering
(Surah 13 verse. 11): never.
Will Allah change the condition. Of a people until they change it themselves.
For all these years the oppressed Muslim masses have to related these Bokharis and such other moulvis and maulanas. But the cat is out of the bag. Their patience is running out. As rightly predicted by the Editor of Dalit Voice, the Babri Masjid has come as a blessing in disguise for the revolutionary masses to take over the leadership, both religious and political.
