Madi gas always opposed Dr. Ambedkar 

The Madi gas have been always a separate entity. Among all the Untouchable communities in AP, only the Madi gas were displaying a crab mentality by their ABCD agitation. Their cry that the Malas are grabbing their share is not based on facts. How can the Malas grab their share when the Malas were never in power? Babasaheb treated all these 60 Untouchable subcastes as one community but the Madi gas did not stop criticising Babasaheb. Our editor’s thesis to strengthen each Jati and share the benefits of reservation in proportion to the population of each subcaste will result in the disunity of Dalits. Instead of dividing Dalits, we must encourage “merited” people among Dalits and promote competition between them.
