Bangalore: Dalit Voice salufes Justice K. Ramaswamy, the hero of Durban — a retired Judge of the Supreme Court, now a member of the National Human Rights Commission and also a member of the DV family — for playing a quiet bur major role in infernationalising India’s gory apartheid and making the world know for the first fame the ugly race of Hinauism.

DV ramily members world-wide are grateful to this honest Dalif intellectual who even as a Judge of the Supreme Court had the courage to quorte from our Editor’s book, Merif, My Food (DSA 1996), while snubbing the anti-reservation racists in a historic judgment. War against Dalits: When the Hindu nazis headed by Vaidik Vajpayee put all sorfs of obsfructions by waging a war against Dalits aft Durban, no /ess “a person than the chainperson of the World Conference Against Racism, Mrs. Mary Robinson, a White Western woman and a former president of Leland who /s also the chainperson of the Unified Nations Human Rights Commission, on Sept5 publicly praised the role played by the NHRC at Durban thereby giving a big boost to the Dalit demand that “casteism is racism”. Mrs. Robinson sard:
Delegations from across the world had never ‘heard about discrimination based on caste and the NGQOs, by holding rallies, had succeeded unincorporating the cause in their dec- laration at a parallel conference. (Hindu, Sept. 6, 20017).
Justice Ramaswamy, unlike many other Dalit polificions and leaders, could have also sulked and compromised to please the brahminical master’s but he did not.
Shame to Dalit ministers: His infellectual honesty should put to shame our Dalit Ministers, MPs, leaders, the National Commission for SC/ST and the thousancis of rubberstamp SC/ ST organisations who are Interested only in publicity and private profit.
