Dr. Mulk Raj Anand

New Delhi: The government has appointed Dr. Mulk Raj Anand, eminent writer, as honorary editor of art books to be published by the Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Dr. Anand, who is also a member of the ministry’s Media Advisory Committee, has behind him a writing career spanning nearly half a century. He has to his credit more than a dozen novels, six collections of short stories and numerous other works of art and literature. (Indian Express. May 31)
