I am in full agreement with you in that “Caste can kill Hinduism”. (V.T. Rajshekar, Caste — A Nation Wtihin the Nation, Books for Change, 2002). Not only that, but it is also the only thing that will kill Hinduism. But the million »#ollar question is how? Under FPTP small caste- based parties cannot get any representation and forming suitable and just coalition is a Herculean task which they can never achieve in the face of enormous sums of money coming from the other side. It can only be achieved with the help of an election system that will allow due representation to small caste-based parties. Open-list-Proportional Representation system is the system that will allow small parties their due share of representation. | have written that before, and you have been kind enough to publish the same.
Your comment on “caste killing Hinduism”. You are right in saying small caste-based parties will face difficulties. Under the multitude of caste, class, religion and language and other contradictions in India, every section must fight its own battle. When large castes like the Yadavas are still slaves in the Hindi belt, smaller castes will not be allowed to open their eyes. But there is no other way. One shortcut is that small jatis can form a federation of their own. When the oppressed have no media of their own, and the Brahminical media is churning out only falsehood human right struggles will be simply killed. The Brahminical people have destroyed the fighting spirit of the oppressed with their karma theory. So, there is no chance of the oppressed taking to violence. India never had a revolution. The future is gloomy, but we have to fight. The vaidiks are experts in the law of contradictions but our people know nothing of it – EDITOR.
