Bangalore: This is to remind about our editorial of Oct.1: “BSO killing Dravida leadership through corruption using parliamentary democracy”.
No better example to prove our point can be given than the Republican Party of India (RPI), the party started by Babasaheb Ambedkar himself. What is its fate today ? RPI is splintered into six units and some say it is much more. Not only the party is divided but one unit trying to kill the other.
This is what the ruling upper castes wanted to do with the RPI and they did it using the parliamentary democracy.
Today, every faction chief of the RPI is stooging one Hindu leader or the other and as a prize of stooging he is getting his share in the corruption that has become part of India’s parliamentary political life.
