I went through an overwhelming life change in early December. I formally and publicly accepted Islam, so it is no longer a private matter. My parents and co-workers all know I am Muslim. What I found so nice about Islam is it includes all the older major religions except Hinduism. Even many Muslims think the Prophet refers to the Budha, and Navayana Budhism fits me, this is a good perfectly with Islam. For change, because I feel I have become a more peaceful person with the five daily prayers. I am still angry at the ills of the world, but have a new calm which frees me from anxiety about being able to fix it. I have not forgotten my obligation to you or the world.
