Hindu police kill Muslims  

Kanpur: The industrial metropolis of Kanpur, known for its tanneries, is going through the worst communal carnage since Independence. with the death toll having reached over 20 in. just three days of violence and with even women and young children falling prey to police bullets. However, what is striking about the violence in Kanpur is that though the riot began on a communal tone, the fight has now been relegated to that between the security forces, in particular the notorious PAC, and the minority community.
