Bangalore: Read this interesting complaint by a Brahmin in the “Letters” columns of the Times of India, Bombay (Aug.22), under the headline “Times Stumbles?” :-
Sir, The two photographs showing the President, Shankar Dayal Sharma, stumbling and falling (Aug.21), are in bad taste. Even a healthy person can stumble at any point of time. The fact that Sharma stumbled because of his infirmity does not mean that you display the President’s fall on the front page. It is the Times of India which has stumbled. S.V. PAI
(We have received a number of complaints about these pictures. However, we wish to point out that news, however embracing, is always in the public interest. Editor. (Times of India)
Why this Aryan Pai is so shy about the fall of President Sharma? Because the Bhopal Brahmin is his jatwala. The Aryan logic is whatever the Aryans do is right. Even when they indulge in rampant corruption, murders and mayhem it should not be disclosed.
