Bangalore: We have once again proved right. This time it is the much-maligned Karnataka Chief Minister Bangarappa.
In an interview to the Sunday (July 12) the Backward Caste (Idiga) CM says the current newspaper campaign against him is “part of the caste campaign by the Brahmin lobby in the press”. We had said the same thing in our story. “Bangarappa baiting by three exploiting jaties” (DV June 1, 92, p.15) and Upper Castes Gunning for Bangarappa (DV Mar.1,92 p.4)
Upper caste rulers having failed in all other fronts are today depending solely on the “national” toilet papers to malign SC/BC/minority leaders. Bangarappa is the best example of this. The wily Neogi Brahmin is under pressure to remove Bangarappa. As he is himself in deep trouble, he is postponing the gate pass to Bangarappa.
