Bangalore : A Centre for Research and Development of Dalits is set up as a trust with P. L. Kumaraswamy, Rtd. Addl. Law Secretary to Karnataka Govt ., V. Balasubramanian, IAS, and others as trustees to undertake action programmes for development of children and women in particular of scheduled castes, minorities and others.
