The 4th national assembly of Dalit Christians has »3sked the Indian church feadership to stop Evangelism for 100 years and divert those funds for the liberation of Dalit Christians. A resolution passed at our meeting on Aug.7, the delegates unanimously opposed the fraud being committed by the church leadership on Dalits in the name of conversion.
P.B. Lomeo, member of our executive, UP State president Meherban James spoke. R.L. Francis, president of the movement said that church leadership is bothered only about the number of people who go for conversion and not about their pitiable conditions or social circumstances. The biggest proof of this was that a large chunk of foreign 4 funds were being utilised either for evangelism or for luxurious lifestyles of the people monopolising church leadership.
