Your editorial on “Ameena case” (DV Dec. 1, 91) is highly educative, timely and revealing. It is also a verdict on the foul play of Hindu nazis to trap Muslims.
We wonder how the breasts of Hindu women get suddenly filled up with the milk of human kindness when it comes to the question of Muslim girls while thousands of our Dalit girls are forced to become Devadasis and prostitutes by their Hindu religion.
Even today, in the districts of North Karnataka, our (Dalit) girls are made to believe that it is a divine service to be a prostitute and serve the Hindu lust.
If such Hindu women’s organizations are really concerned about the exploitation of women, why are they gum-lipped against the Devadasi which is nothing but prostitution sanctioned by Hindu religion? Nude worship at Chandragutti of Shimoga is another Hindu festival.
Sex perversion: In fact, while we opposed the nude worship in 1987, it was these Hindu women who picked up a quarrel with us saying that we are “destroying a sacred Hindu custom under the Sanatana dharma in the name of Dalit movement”.
Are they not ashamed of sex perversion in the name of religion?
Mrs. Basava Rajeshwari, a Lingayat MP, is encouraging this Hindu festival in which Hindu men will be given full religious freedom to seduce and have free sex-play with our Dalit girls. She was the first person to oppose the govt. ban of nude worship. In the districts of North Karnataka, marriage of minor girls to rich old Hindu men is common. Why the Hindu religious leaders are blind and deaf to these oppressive customs while crying and shedding crocodile tears for Ameena?
Suspend airhostess: As you have rightly said the Indian Airline airhostess, who lifted the veil of Ameena in the plane, should be immediately suspended for the offence of poking her dirty Hindu nose in the personal affairs of a poor Muslim girl.
Hindus must stop finding fault with the egalitarian religions like Buddhism, Islam and Sikhism.
Because their own religion is based on inequality, inhumanity, racism, intolerance and sex perversion, they want to divert the attention of SC/ST/BCs and attack other religions. Hindus must first repair their leaking house.
Your editorial is an eye-opener to our Muslim brothers and sisters. They must understand the truth and the true colour of this enemy, at least now. In the present hostile atmosphere, it is only the Dalit Voice that has taken the courage to speak out the truth.
