London: A Muslim schoolboy is demanding an apology from his headmaster and compensation after being banned from lessons for several weeks for refusing to shave off his beard. Syed Dohan, 15, was sent home from his comprehensive school after he objected to the headmanster’s demand that he remove the beard, which the boy says is part of his religious and cultural tradition.
