Bangalore: Parliamentary democracy is under threat in India. The ruling upper castes are using the upper caste-dominated higher judiciary to gradually weaken this democracy by interfering in the function of parliament and state legislatures.
Because, their experience of 60-years of democratic experiment tells them that democracy is not in their interest. The upper castes, being rulers, have a double advantage. They enjoy higher social status, and they are also property-holders.
The micro-minority rulers of India, comprising less than 15% of its upper castes (Hindu), controlled by the 3% vaidiks, are convinced that the parliamentary democracy is weakening their rulership.
Power is gradually slipping out of their hands. All the Chief Ministers heading the different states are non- Brahmins. Even the political power, controlling the Govt. of India, in Delhi they are losing. The rout of their favourite Brahmana Jati Party, which they expected to win, has broken their hearts.
They did their best and finally averted the danger of Sonia Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister. Yet things are not going their way. The latest Supreme Court order of March 9 on Jharkhand, which came under fire at the recent Speakers conference and specially Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterji, has to be viewed in this light.
Brahminism does not believe in democracy. It is against the very Constitution of India. The BSO constitution is outlined in their favourite Manu Dharma Shastra which the rulers are effectively implementing while sabotaging the Constitution of India.
The fight between the legislature and the judiciary is not new. But it must be also said that whenever the legislature becomes weak the judiciary gets the upper hand.
Manuwadis killing Constitution: But who is weakening the legislature? The Bahujans of India, comprising over 85% of its population, love democracy and the Constitution which crated this democracy. is the Manuwadis who are weakening the Constitution and the legislature.
Their blood is boiling that the hated “low castes” are capturing power by using the power of their caste.
Contempt for elected leaders: Look at the upper caste contempt for elected representatives of people who make up the Indian democracy. Suhel Seth, a columnist in the Asian Age (March 7, 2005) says a “bunch of jokers are running our country”. He calls them idiots and asks the judiciary to pull down and punish such “irresponsible people”. He wants the Supreme Court to “run this country. We need to throw these people out…” Such is the venom in the hearts of these upper castes, and they are boiling with anger and impatiently working to establish their Manuwadi dictatorship. The Supreme Court and the High Courts are helping such Hindu nazis to destroy democracy. These are very important issues facing the Bahujans. But as we don’t have our own media (barring this tiny: DV) our voice is not heard.
Reservations in judiciary: Now that the Speaker of the Lok Sabha himself has taken up cudgels against the Supreme Court, we want to congratulate him and request him to convince the Members of Parliament to introduce reservations in the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court and the High Courts.
This power of appointing judges was with the Govt. of India, but it was the BJP. Govt., under Vaidik Vajpayee, which transferred it to the Supreme Court to help Jawala’s. The Govt. of India must take this power back The Speaker and work for disciplining the Supreme Court and the High Courts by introducing caste-based reservations. Then only the courts now flying in the sky can be brought to earth.
Sovereignty lies with the people and not the judges. The Supreme Court is not supreme. The people are supreme. If the courts go against the people, they have to be disciplined.
The Speaker of the Lok Sabha did exactly this. He should now take yet another step by lobbying for reservation in higher judiciary.
