St. John’s Gets Affiliation

Bangalore: The Bangalore University has given affiliation to St. John’s Medical College for the academic year 1982-83 and 1983-84, according to college authorities. There was controversy over the affiliation of the college. with the Bangalore University contending that it had not fulfilled all conditions. Dr. G.M. Mascarenhas has been appointed Dean of the college. He succeeds Dr. C.M Francis. (Deccan Herald, May 10)
