We have stood by Brother Kanshi Ram from the very beginning. Not only that. We have participated in all his movements – BAMCEF, DS-4 and other agitations.
However, we kept out when he converted his movement into a political party in keeping with the high traditions to be followed as the Editor of a non-party paper. But we always supported the Bahujan Samaj movement in all our speeches and writings. Sister Mayawati is quite capable, and we are sure she will frustrate the criminal intentions of the ruling class.
The rulers are doing their duty. But we are not doing our duty. The “educated” Dalit class has produced too many stooges and self-seekers. It is these people who are doing everything to undermine the Bahujan Samaj movement and Dalit Voice. Yet we are weathering the storm. We assure our full support to Sister Mayawati and renew our promise to shoulder any responsibility – EDITOR.
