Dr. (Mrs.) K.K. Sidhu did mention that Mira Bai was killed but I say she was murdered (Chitpavan Brahmin Godse killed Gandhi, Hindu god Ram murdered Wali and Vamana killed Bali Chakravarti).
Mira was murdered by the toxic Brahman emissaries of the Rajput King Rana. She ran away from her home to escape the tyrannies of Rana and his Brahman goons. They chased her and ultimately tracked her down at Dwarka. She was taken inside the mandir in the evening. Next morning they showed her clothes to the devotees and declared that she penetrated into the idol of Krishna. The whole night what they did to Meera is anybody’s guess. Why she was murdered? In one word, it was because the famed Rajput princess was a great devotee of the Untouchable Guru Ravidas.
