The Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, today visited the Ma Anand Mai Ashram at Naimisharanya, 42 km from here. Mrs. Gandhi had darshan of Ma Anand Mai and was with her for about an hour.
The Prime Minister, who was on her first visit to Naimisharanya, an ancient religious centre, inaugurated a Pauranic Vedic research and studies institute there. She was presented with a set of books by the director of the centre, Mr. G. N. Sastri.
