New Delhi: The National Committee for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centenary Celebrations has been reconstituted with Chandra Shekar, Prime Minister, as the new chairman. Ramjilal Suman, Minister of State for Labour and Welfare, is the Deputy Chairman of the reconstituted committee having 15 members and all except two of them are Ministers in the Union Government. The other two on the committee are Mohan Dharia. deputy chairman of the Planning Commission, and Nakul Naik, parliamentary secretary.
