Science and technology are considered a common property of the whole humankind. It is like a common bank account. Who has deposited how much money in this account – that is not very important. Everybody has got equal right to draw money from this account as per his needs. If we consider this as a storehouse of knowledge, India’s contribution to it is very little. Over 90% contribution has come from the west. But west has not denied this knowledge to India.
It is the British who first introduced scientific and technical education in India. The Aryans/savarnas/Hindus realising the importance of the scientific and technical education grabbed the opportunity. But they did not produce scientists or technologists. They used this education to earn money for selfish ends. What right they have to deny the same education to the avarnas?
VIPs going to US: The verdict of a savarna judge on this matter has betrayed the aspirations of the over 85% of non- Hindus of India. (Read Editorial P.3)
If Hindu doctors are the best why Indian VIPs go to America for treatment? Because they have no faith in their own “merited” savarna doctors. Why do the savarna/Hindu technologists go in for technical collaboration with the west ? Because they cannot produce even a good quality lollipop on their own without technical collaboration with the west.
When such is the poverty of their technological skill how can they deny technical education to over 85% the anaryan Bahujan Samaj? West has not refused to train the sub- standard Indian savarna doctors and engineers. So, how can they refuse the same education to the avarnas in the State-run schools, colleges and universities ?.
Solution: I have a solution. To get rid of this problem of merit, reservation etc. separate educational institutions, separate hospitals for savarnas and the avarnas should be made. The existing institutions be divided in proportion to the population of each: 15% and 85% between Hindus and non-Hindus.
Savarna/Hindu institutions will be run by the savarnas and the avarna institutions will be manned by the avarnas. Savarna students will join savarna institutions and avarna students will join the avarna institutions. Savarna patients will be treated by the savarna doctors in the savarna hospitals and the avarna patients will be treated by the avarna doctors in the avarna hospitals. No quarrel, no ill- feeling.
This is called peaceful co-existence.
