Our journal represents the persecuted sections of India. Though we comprise over 85% of India’s population, we have no voice as the media is owned by the ruling class. This ruling class brahminical media’s main objective is to suppress truth and spread falsehood. So, if you think that there is any hope in the Indian media you are thoroughly mistaken.
In fact, we in India are the victims of this monstrous media. We are suffering more at the hands of the media rather than that of the govt. This media is above the govt ., above parliament, above the people and above everybody else. It makes and unmakes the govt.
Bania-Brahmin combine: This is because this monster media is owned by the tiny upper caste Banias and run by the brahminical forces. Together, these people represent not even 6% of India’s population.
As they are owners of all property, power and position, they are using the media to maintain the status quo by suppressing truth and spreading falsehood – thereby denying our human rights. Nay. This press is aiding, abetting and promoting state terrorism.
We are saying this on the basis of our experience of working in this very so-called “national” press for 25 years in different parts of India.
State terrorism: So if you depend upon this press you will be thoroughly misled. It is this media which is suppressing the truth of the brahminical terrorism in every part of India particularly Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Jharkhand. And on Dalits, Muslims, Christians, tribals, women, Backward Caste. Not even 30% of our human rights violations are reported in the press.
The journalists, most of them upper castes, act more as representatives of their caste than as journalists. This is perhaps the only one of its kind in the whole world where the power of publication is misused to serve selfish ends, and that is why the Amnesty should never trust the Indian press.
Here is the proof. Every section in the country has welcomed privatisation, welcoming foreign investment, collaboration, market economy, in keeping with the govt. policy but India’s corrupt media has unanimously opposed any move to allow western news agencies to operate in India, because then the cat will be out of the bag. If the ruling class in India has continued to maintain two faces – peace, non- violence, democracy and such other bullshit for outsiders – and endless violence, murder and mayhem for Indians it is solely because of this monstrous media. – EDITOR.
