For sometime I have been thinking to have an extensive discussion with you regarding the Indian Muslims in particular .
Actually I have begun to feel suffocated being a Muslim first and then an Indian — (Indian Muslim). I have lost every hope that Indian Muslims are going to improve themselves anyway. You believe it or not but this is my steely belief that they are finished now. To expect any change, any betterment in them is nothing else but a complete waste of time and energy. Rather, as I see, the situation will worsen further.
Sometime when I see Muslims’ especially Indian Muslims’ cowardice, difunctional, stillness, ignorance and unreasonable religious belief, I become so despondent and heavy-hearted. More over every Muslim has become so presumptuous and self-important that he is not ready to accept and recognize anyone, not even his own brother, a Muslim. Every Muslim is considering oneself next to Allah.
Muslims have misunderstood the religion, Islam. They are badly in need of reformation or they are certainly going to meet death and destruction. There are several nonsense that are mistakenly being practised by Muslims in the name of Islam.
But first of all Muslims will have to reject their conservative , and blockheaded religious leaders (ulema) outright if they want any reform for the life of Islam and themselves. Because these leaders (ulema) are misrepresenting Islam to the Muslim mass. And that is only because either they (ulema) themselves have misunderstood Islam and so they are misrepresenting it or they are intentionally doing so just to keep the mass backward for their (ulema) domination of the community.
Many communities and religions came and disappeared from the world. Muslims should remove their misconception that they will not. Rather, my analysis says they are the next to become lost.
