Nazis divide Ladakhis  

New Delhi: The Central Government, which appears keen on providing a popular goverming mechanism in Ladakh, has been hampered in its efforts by the continuing divisions between the Buddhist and Muslim communities in the region which forms part of Kashmir. A social boycott of Muslims has been in force in the area for over a year following communal disturbances in the remote region (Hindu Jan. 2).
