- Ambedkarite Directory Who’s Who 1991:
The Dr. Ambedkar Centenary Celebration Committee UK (ACCC) would like to bring out a section entitled Ambedkarite Directory of Who’s Who in Volume IV of their Souvenir publication. It will try to record distinguished Ambedkarite considerable success in their professions. We believe that Babasaheb Ambedkar inspired and strengthened these people in their successful life. In deep appreciation of Dr Ambedkar’s service to humanity and his struggle for human rights, we would like to publish this to mark the great occasion of his Birth Centenary. The aim of the Directory will be twofold: first, to highlight Dr Ambedkar’s struggle for the downtrodden people in India, and, second, to highlight the success of such downtrodden people in their profession. We believe that their stories of success would inspire the many throughout the world who are still suppressed, oppressed and forever in agony. We should naturally be grateful if you could help us by sending a typed, brief biographical sketch of yourself of not more than 100 words, together with a recent professional portrait, passport-size black and white photo.
We look forward to hearing from you by mid-August 1991. In view of the high postal charges, no reminder will be sent, so please attempt to meet this deadline.
