In our Editorial of Nov. 16, 2003, “Arrogant America’s fall begins: Euro getting ready to drown dollar hegemony”, we had said the angry Arab victims are planning to use the economic weapon to defeat the US militarily. And that economic weapon is the Saudi oil.
War against Muslims: It is now an open secret that President Bush controlled by a powerful zionist cabal is waging a war against Muslims and Islam at the behest of Israel in the name of “Clash of civilisations”. It waged war in Afghanistan and later in Iraq. Israel is daily killing Palestinians and forcibly occupying their lands. They are also pricking Iran and Syrla. Tormenting Turkey.
Reports in the Western press indicate that the OPEC (Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries), most of them Arabs, are increasingly realising that America can be brought to its knees if oil weapon is used.
As the winter begins, US demand for oil will increase. This is the right time to cut down oil supplies to the US and hike the oil price. But the Saudi rulers are resisting.
Power of Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia, world’s largest producer of oil, possesses 25% of the world’s reserves. OPEC’s Arab countries alone control 2/3 of the reserves.
Here lies the power of Saudi Arabia. This is the secret behind the US rushing its Deputy Secretary of State Armitage to reassure the Saudi rulers within hours after the Nov.9 attack in Riyadh. The US is so much dependent on Saudi oil because it is the world’s biggest oil guzzler.
The US is deeply worried about the stability of the Saudi Govt., one of the world’s most oppressive regimes. It is these Saudi rulers who sold their country to America and permitted the US to control its oil economy and even its internal affairs. The US turned a blind eye to all the anti- democratic behaviour of the Saudi royal family against which the opposition is growing within the country – perhaps even within the royal family.
The Nov.9. 2003 midnight suicide bombing right in the heart of Riyadh was carried out clearly with the help of the insiders. The attackers were wearing police uniforms and used police vehicles. That means there are sympathisers of bin Laden, a respected Saudi business magnate, within the Saudi Govt. and perhaps even within the royal family.
Custodian of Mecca: The US is deeply worried because the pro-Arimerican royal family with 5,000 useless princes is becoming very unpopular with the people. As the self-styled custodian of Islam and its holy place of Mecca, it is using dictatorial methods to suppress the people, in the name of protecting Islam. And bin Laden, himself a Saudi national, has gained many followers and we will not be surprised if_ the Saudi royal family is toppled in the coming months – unless the Crown Prince Abdullah mellows and understands the mood of the Muslims inside and outside and then agrees to apply the oil shock to squeeze America.
