We are planning a one-day “Heart-searching session for Kerala Dalits” as announced in DV of Jan. 1, 2004, p.23. This will be at Cochin. We want Brother Jayaprakash, one of our senior DV family members from Kerala, to assist us in convening such a session. Kerala Dalits are torn into innumerable political parties, factions, subcaste associations etc. Too much confusion.
At the same time, they are also fast getting hinduised the rush to Sabarimala is increasing. Brahmins and Nairs rarely go there. Like those flies flocking round the burning lamp and dying, our people are being fried alive. The Hindu nazis have manufactured a fisherwoman Mata to promote Hindu-Muslim clashes. Instead of joining with Dalits, the Ezhavas are going behind manuwadi marxists. Both the Syrian Antony and the Nair stooge Karunakaran are vying with each other to push Kerala into nazi fold. Dalit Christians are distrusted. The leader of the poor, revolutionary Muslims, Abdul Nasser Madani, is rotting in Coimbatore jail for several years without any charges. Kerala is ripe for a nazi take over.
So, in this crucial junction, the only people who can save Kerala are the Dalits. Hence the importance of the Cochin “heart-searching meat”. We want Jayaprakash to prepare the blueprint for such a meet – EDITOR.
