Tribal Revolt

Mysore : Tribal people may soon rebel against civilised invasion of their culture, according to Dr Usha Deka, a noted anthropologist. Speaking on changing system of the tribals in India, delivered at the 69th session of the Indian Science Congress here, Dr. Deka said the tribals are being detribalised mainly due to rapid industrialisation, construction of hydroelectric projects and road-building in the areas of their inhabitation.
