I was also present at the 3-day seminar on Brahminism, a report on which appeared in DV April 16, 2003, p. 7: “Brahminism can’t be cured hence endured?”. Here | present my reflections on the subject.
“When one remembers that it is the shudras, who have largely been instrumental in sustaining the infamous system of Chaturvarnya, though it has been the primary cause of their degradation, and that only the Shudras can destroy the Chaturvarnya”,
says Dr. Ambedkar. (Who were the Shudras? W&S Vol.7, p.18).
Destruction of Chaturvarna (caste system) meant ignoring the supremacy of Brahmin and his Brahminism.
Brahminism, the deadliest mental virus, has infected every person in India. Not only the so-called Hindus including the Brahmins. Even the Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and all other sundry groups are suffering from this fatal disease.
HOW TO MAKE VAIDIKS JOBLESS
While research is going on to find medicine for deadly AIDS, SARS, cancer and such other diseases, nobody is coming forward to do any research to cure the disease of all diseases, namely Brahminism. Sufferers alone must find medicine to get it cured.
The peculiarity of the disease is Brahminism cannot be isolated from the Brahmin. He is the transmitter of the disease. A Brahmin has Brahminism in his blood. But a non- Brahmin has it in his attitude. When we refer to a Brahmin, it means a vaidik and a priest.
No priest comes to the doors of a non-Brahmin begging for an opportunity to perform any religious duty. No. It is the non-Brahmin, the shudras and the urbanised ati-. shudras (Untouchables) who go in search of a priest to his doors, beg for his services, pay not only money but also respect by touching his feet. If the shudras stop this custom, the vaidik will be jobless.
End of vaidikism and the priestcraft will end once for all the evils associated with Brahminism.
Superstition, dogma, fear of hell, inferiority complex, generation of self-hatred are all part of the priest- craft.
Thus, Brahminism is the mother of all discriminations and hatred.
It is the vaidiks who invented the varna. The fourth varna created the castes and the caste system. The first three Manuvadis comprise a single group of Brahmin, Kshatriya and Vaishya. But the fourth is a bunch of castes numbering over 6,000. It is not just a division; it is a pyramid of human beings. This pyramidical order of castes created hatred and contempt between castes. Ascending order of reverence and descending degree of contempt. This is exactly the purpose of Brahminism
GREAT QUALITY OF BRAHMIN
The Brahmin takes great pride in his caste. Loves his caste. He is always interested in the welfare of his caste. It is his sole self-interest. It is this selfishness that gave him the strength.
When the Brahmin is casteist, top to bottom, he derives great strength out of it, it is a lesson that all other castes must learn from the Brahmin. This love of one’s caste is called as “caste identity” by our Editor. The strength of the Brahmin comes from this great quality.
The Brahmin is a master strategist. The manner and method of its operation, its timing is beyond anybody’s imagination. All other castes, once they get united, can also plan their strategy.
But how to unite these hundreds of warring castes? The vaidiks will not allow it. The secret of his strength is in keeping all these divided. The game plan of Brahminism is to set one caste against the other. A particular caste succumbs to this Brahminical conspiracy because of * the inherent weakness of hatred between one and the other caste.
VAIDIKS HAVE NO HOMELAND
Therefore, “Caste identity”, caste consolidation, caste progress is the first step to avoid this friction between castes. Once each caste becomes strong, shares property, privileges and power, there can be'” reason for jealousy. All the Brahminical tricks will fail.
Infighting of shudras in politics, during the last three years has proved a great boon to Brahminism. But are the shudras learning from it?
Tolerance, understanding, adjustment, non-interference, progress of each caste and sympathy for the other caste to progress are solutions. But this process is not that simple. The vaidiks put all sorts of hurdles. We must face it for some time.
The problem with the Manuvadis is they know that they are a micro- minority. Their great leader, B.G. Tilak, has said that they are «outsiders to India. They have no homeland of their own.
Even after “independence” and getting political power, they failed to find a trusted friend outside India. Or even inside India.
Their foreign policy first failed with China. Next in Bangladesh, then in Sri Lanka. The Indian army which acts at the behest of Brahminical rulers proved a failure everywhere.
ISLAM AS AN EXCEPTION
Their calculation of Hitler, whom they hailed as an avatar, coming to power failed. Now their only hope is #merica. The result is known. They have no security. These micro-minority-fmanuvadis are not getting a sound sleep in the night because of the eternal fear of the enormous enemies they are surrounded with. Because of these frustrations they are behaving like mad dogs.
Dalits have been their permanent enemies for over 3,000 years. Brahminism succeeded in co-opting Sikhism. Corrupted Christianity to some extent. But their only failure is with Islam. This is because Islam stands for justice, equality and brotherhood. Most Indian Muslims are Moolabharatis. Only a few Brahmins converts, and rich Muslims are dancing to the tunes of Brahminism. But the masses are anti-Brahminism. They never trust the vaidiks and Manuvadis.
During such vast enemies surrounding the Aryans, the vaidiks get no peaceful sleep.
Moolabharatis (indigenous people) are worshippers of female deities. Their culture, language, habits and ways of life are different. Muslims, converted Christians, and Dalits are beefeaters. Because of this they have kept a distance from Brahminism.
Beef-eaters will never compromise in their food habits, their customs, manners, cultural traditions.
Brahminism has no god, dharma or culture. Its sole preoccupation is in power and more power for better exploitation. The “Aryan culture” is a big bluff. They are the most uncultured barbarians, the laziest lot in the world. The only thing they could give in abundance is hypocrisy.
Moolbharatis have matriarchal culture, languages of their own developed and well-established for 5,000 years. Art, architecture, dance, music, crafts are all the inborn wealth of these people.
3-DAY SEMINAR
The Aryans expected Hitler to win the Second World War. Now they are looking te America for their survival. Islam and Christianity are found in over 50 countries, but Brahminism has their Viswa Hindu Parishad only in India.
The three-day seminar on Brahminism held at the Indian Social Institute in collaboration with Janamata was a great event. Learned people participated. The subject was well analysed. But the disease was not diagnosed, no drug was prescribed.
The author of the book, Brahminism (DSA-2002) and the Caste — A Nation Within the Nation, V.T. Rajshekar and Editor of Dalit Voice, delivered the valedictory address. In the first book, the doctor has diagnosed the disease and in the second book he has prescribed the medicine.
