T. N. Dalits Decide to Quit Hinduism

Madras: At a meeting held here recently all the representatives expressed their solidarity and assured co-operation in regard to the pending criminal case against Dr. Kuganandam, chairman, Scheduled Castes Students Federation, T. N. The pros and cons of the conversion was discussed and the participants were unanimous about quitting Hinduism. A writ challenging the suspension of Dr. Kuganandam, was filled in the Madras High Court. Advocates Fenn Walter and Kumaraswamy took up the case to rescue the dalit student leader and got the stay order in the High Court on Sept. 3.
