SRINAGAR, KAHSMIR
I am totally at variance with the Jamate-Islami so far as their religious beliefs are concerned and have collected enough literature against the Jarnat. Yet, I advise you to cut short, the discourse because the Jamat does not claim to be a political organisation but a cultural and religious body. The Jamat does not fall into a category which could be criticised on its role with regard to its upliftment of Muslims politically.
The Jamate-Islam of Kashmir State has not acceded to the Jamat in India. But the ideology is one and same for both.
However, I request you to kindly overlook the Ideological aspect of the Jamat for the present because Muslims require unity along with other Dalits and not disunity in view of the Hindu fundamentalist’s stance on Babri Masjid episode which is an agony to us all at present.
