Bangalore: Even judges of the country’s highest Supreme Court (SC) are ignorant of the caste system which is the English translation of the Sanskrit term, Varnashram Dharma. In a judgment two judges, Dalveer Bhandari and A.K. Patnaik, both upper castes (Times of India, Dec.6, 2009) made a sweeping statement without thinking:
“It is absolutely imperative to abolish the caste system as expeditiously as possible for smooth functioning of the rule of law and democracy in our country”.
We have said it hundreds of times that the caste system is killing India.
But we have also said abolishing the caste system amounts to destruction of Hinduism itself-because the caste system is the other word for Hinduism. If Hinduism goes how can the upper castes make SC the close preserve of their jatwalas? The whole Brahminical man-made, pyramid-shaped caste system will collapse-ending the 63-year-old Brahminical rule.
The SC itself has many judgments fully defending the caste system. Over 90% of our people are victims of the caste system which the Brahmins say is a divine creation. Those upholders of the Vamashram Dharma have said they are above the law, above the constitution and above the country. Both Bhandari and Patnaik must know that it is the constitution of Manu that governs India and not the constitution made by Dr. Ambedkar.
