RSS Defend Killing of Dalits To Prevent Conversions

Madras: State BJP President K. Narayan Rao briefing newsmen after the two- day State exceutive meet, said that had the clashes not occurred there was the certainty of mass conversions in Puliangudi like in Meenakshipuram. Asked to cite the basis for such an inference, he said Harijans, Christians and Muslims had be- gun fraternising organisationally since May. In the first week of May itself there had been a series of meetings by the Samuthuva Sahodrathuva Sangam and all the developments pointed to a conversion in Puliangudi and surrounding areas.
