PVN Govt. in danger  

Bangalore: The “Negi Brahmin” who managed to become the PM and the “Pahadi Brahmin” who could not because of his defeat in UP are fighting it out and the pawn on their chess board is the poor Italian Catholic widow of the ex-PM. P.V. Narasimha Rao’s minority govt. is sure to falter and fall the moment Sonia Gandhi is elected from Amethi. And this is what the boss of the UP Congress, N.D. Tiwari, wants. Interesting things are ahead. The fall of PVN is certain even otherwise. The overfed upper caste rulers will resist the American-imposed economic “reforms” ‘and they are sure to hit back. And their cousins heading the labor unions will whip up violence. It will be chaos. To please his Jati people PVN may first sack his Sardar ji Finance Minister. But there is the lurking danger from the Maratha, Sharad Pawar. Whichever way Ave look, PVN end is certain. That means another mid-term election. That means the ruling class is collapsing, and we must get ready.
