This refers to the appeal of Anil Rangari about meditation (DV Sept.1, 2003 p.7). Dr. Ambedkar called it “idleness”: –
“The Bhikkhu Sangh in its present condition can therefore be of no use to the spread the Budhism, of these a large majority are merely Sadhus and Sanyasis spending their time in meditation or idleness”. (Buddha & Future of His Religion, Dr. Ambedkar p.15).
