Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal (Mann) has welcomed the demand for self-determination for Tamils made at a conference organised by the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) in Madras. In a statement here the Dal said it supported the PMK resolution, as the- Sikhs too were struggling for the right to self-determination. (Hindu Sept 20).
