Aryans/upper castes have no permanent party. They have only permanent interests. Now that the Bengali Bhadralok (upper caste) ship piloted by the Shudra Kayasth Jyoti Basu is sinking, same-stricken rats are trying to jump out of the sinking ship. The diminutive Bengali brahmin woman has offered the berth to the rats. A hint to this effect is available in a Hindu (Jan.20) report. It says India’s Chief Aryan LAN party, BJP, has already established contacts with her and she is willing as the Marxists and: Congress are likely to join hands”. BJP has secured 11% votes in W. Bengal in the 1991 elections.
