Kaj Krinsmoe, Abildgade 15, 1.th., 8200 Aarhus N. Denmark: If Israel had erected the Wall along the borders given it by the international community in 1948, then it would probably be legal. As it is it is an example of monstrous zionist dialectics. And far too many international leaders go on accord with it without even saying —”boycott Israel”. One leader made the ridiculous gesture of calling home its ambassador when Israeli gunships wiped out Palestinian homes in Gaza. That ambassador should not even have been in Israel. But private Jewish bankers have been in place in Turkey many, many generations and the effect has been quite evident. The only reason that Israel hasn’t been sneaked into NATO through the Turkish back door is that Turk leaders prefer to stay alive. Under the auspices of the zionist proxies, Bush and Blair, zion is creating international precedence’s these years. Might and perfidies come before right. That is a symptom of dubious and hypocritical leadership — in whose pay, are they? Are the Europeans already as compromised as that legislating mob in Washington? Of what use is it that European leaders are rabbling together under one flag when filthy iniquity flourishes before their very eyes? Are they calculating that others will have to live up to the consequences of their decadence? (kkrinsmoe@stofanet.Dk )
Dr. Satinath Choudhary c/o Ms. Asha Kumar, A-1, Poorti Apartments, Vikaspuri, New Delhi – 110 018: 1 have finally finished a booklet, The Need for Primary Elections to Switch from Netaa-centric politics to People– Centric One. The booklet advocates two things: primary elections and proportional representation (PR) system of election. I fully agree with your contention (actually it is my contention as well, independently arrived at I don’t know when) that each caste needs to be empowered. Nobody can expect one caste to safeguard another caste’s interests. All have to fend for themselves. But all castes cannot be empowered without PR. Please consider getting it translated into other languages and publishing it. am getting the English ‘version published at Indian I Social Institute (IST). I have uploaded the booklet in the list India-unity @yahoogroups.com. You should be able to see it by clicking at the following link:
hitp://groups.yahoo.com/group/india-unity/files. and then you can click at the file: Primary election-12a/ doc.
Comments and criticisms are most welcome.
Pratap Tambay, Flat No.101-Madhuri Apts.., Janardan Patil Marg, Chembur, Bombay – 400 071: I am trying to get Dalits to network on www.linkedin.com. Due to the current lack of networking among Dalits information sharing and progress gets hindered. I want to work towards removing this lacuna. I want you to use the network as a tool to create a network of Dalits. You have subscribers in multiple countries. Your subscribers might be able to add significant economic value to the lives of other Dalits. They might be able to do this by providing information about the place/company that they live/work in on their page on the LinkedIn page. (prataptambay@yahoo.com )
Your suggestion is wonderful, but our people are in deep slumber. DV is India’s only paper which gives the full postal address of all those write in i1, by 1his Time we must have published several hundreds of addresses in different corners of India. We made several requests or our readers 7o make us of these addresses and form “DV readers club “in each city and row. But none heeded our suggestion. By 1his time we could have built India’s most powerful network — EDITOR.
Ashfaque Ali, (ali_ash77@yahoo.com ): I met Vinod Wanjari, Mrs. Sujata Wasnik, Praveen Zen Raut, a BSP leader, who promised full support for the Backward Muslims. Muslim intellectuals and Maulanas at present are under the spell of the Congress. But OBC Muslims are ready for an alternative solution. The Backward Muslims in Vidharba form about 75% of the Muslim population.: About 10 lakhs. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, the Congress and NCP fought unitedly but in Vidharba they lost 10 seats out of 11. Only the Nagpur seat was won by the Congress and that too because in Nagpur alone the Backward Muslim votes are around 2.5 lakhs. The Muslim voter turnout was 53% and because of a news report in ‘an Urdu newspaper about Praveen Togadia two days before the date of voting the Muslims decided to encase to vote for the Congress. Asa results the Congress won the Nagpur seat by a margin of 1,00,000 votes. I am now free and would like to work for Dalit-Muslim unity. I read DV getting it from Muniba Book Store, Sadar, Nagpur.
S.P. Ashok, 6B/303, “Spring Leaf”, Lokhandwala Complex, Kandivali (E), Bombay – 400 101: I read your book, Counter Revolution, (DSA-2004). Very practical and marvellous book. I have noted that from Dr. Ambedkar to this date, we have been working individually. If an individual dies all his efforts and work die with him. Brahminism is there because of lack of group efforts. This thing is missing in your writings and speeches. This may be added in the Counter Revolution book. It takes one V.T. Rajshekar and his 50 years of struggle, fight, pain, agony and unattiring’s efforts of the happening of DV. Alas, DV will die with VTR. Please do something to save DV. I suggest that DV may be converted into a trust with the selected people who are working with you. After you that trust will come into function and spread your works and ideas. (spashok1@rediffmail.com )
Your statement that we work ‘individually” and that “group efforts” are flacking is Frue. We fried the groom several Dalits, but they all flew away on finding more glamours fields. We are deeply worried over this but helpless. The Dalit situation /s heart-breaking. Neither our Dalit political leaders nor those in kushy govt. jobs are warred about it — EDITOR.
Dr. Leo Rebello, World Peace Envoy, 28/552 – Samata Nagar, Kandivali (E), Bombay – 400 101: Below is my report on my experiments with producing an international documentary on Gandhi with Ivan Tankushev of Canada and others: On June 30, 2004 we shot for 6 hours the last surviving assassin of Gandhi, Gopal Godse, at his residence in Pune. The man is 85, has very good memory but a fanatic Hindu who talks like a parrot. He charged Rs. 25,000 (approx. 600 USD) for the shoot and we made him sign an agreement. All other interviews were free due to my personal contacts with the people interviewed. On July 1, 2004, we interviewed in Bombay Dr. Aloo Dastur (90) who had worked with Gandhi. She is very articulate, has a sharp memory and gave precise answers. Ivan was fascinated by her. In fact, her interview was the best. We picked her up from her Bandra residence and then shot her at Mani Bhavan, Bombay, where Gandhi used to reside. Dr. Dastur, former professor and head of the Dept. of Politics, Bombay University is now the president of Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya. We also interviewed Dhirubhai Mehta, vice-president of Mani Bhavan. He spoke well. He is also the executive secretary ‘and director-general, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (founder K.M. Munshi). At Mani Bhavan, Ivan shot the excellent doll exhibition on Gandhi’s life which brings out in three dimensions the various episodes of his life including a rare oil painting on appendicitis operation performed on him in lantern light. Meghshyam Ajgaonkar, executive secretary, opened the Gandhi room for shooting and took us around the exhibition. Enroute on impulse and without appointment [ barged into the house of M.V. Kamath (83), chairman Prasar Bharati which controls Doordarshan and All India Radio. He was once the Washington correspondent of the Times of India and later the editor of the lustrated Weekly. He gave a good interview in which he said that he sees Gandhi as three persons — Gandhi the Bania (or businessman), Gandhi the politician (and politicians as you know are wily) and. Gandhi the saint. In fact, Kamath thinks Gandhi is a saint. Incidentally Kamath belongs to the Hindu nazi party. On July 2 we flew to Ahmedabad. Met Prof. Manubhai Shah of the Consumer Education and Research Centre. We spent half a day at the Sabarmati Ashram. On July 3, we flew to Delhi and met B.R. Nanda, the biographer of Gandhi who has written several books on Gandhi and other leaders. He presented me with a copy of his book, Gandhi & His Critics. When I showed him Col. G.B. Singh’s book, Gandhi Behind the Mask of Divinity, he brushed it aside saying, “it is a debunking book”. He said the biographies are of three types (a) debunking (b) hagiographic and (c) objective. He said our film should be balanced because debunking a famous man has become a fashion now-a-day. Like for example the film Corpus Christi which portrays Jesus Christ as a homosexual. On our return from Bharatpur to Delhi we went to some jhuggi-jhopdis (thatched houses) of poor people and filmed them. After 56 years of India’s “independence” they are still living without electricity, without water, without toilets, even though they are residing beside the national highway. One old man’s story is very interesting. His per capita income is Rs. 10 a day (1/5th of one American dollar). But he looked happy and healthy, welcomed us with warmth, proudly showed us his goat and family and said that he had a small land, which was the only source of income. The goat gave one liter milk a day which was enough for his family. We asked him whether he was aware that Gandhi too had a goat and preferred to drink goat’s milk because it is very healthy. He smiled in agreement. Yes, “Fall of Bush is confirmed” (DV Aug.1, 2004 p.27). But is Kerry Packer any better? I am told that he is more pro-Jews and that explains why George Soros is pouring money to support him. The research on Masonic Mafia manipulations show that all American presidents are Masons, and they will not stop short of forming the fascist One World Order. Presidents of America are dummies —Masons rule America and by changing the one shameless leader with another, nothing is going to change. As General Kostas (he is a retired general from Greece) wrote after his return from American recently:
“America is insane. The entirety of America needs psychiatric treatment”.
Start the Debate with my comprehensive report on the recently concluded AIDS conference which gives a total picture of manipulations. Then you may publish the remaining articles. (See p. 20).
M. Vikaykumar, H.No. 5-12-337/1, Priyadarshni Colony, Nalgonda, AP -508 001: The AP Govt. has announced 5% reservation to Muslims and including them in BC-E category. This is a good decision of the Congress Govt. Naturally the Hindu nazis are opposing it. Muslims are converts from SC/ST/BCs. Hence, they need reservation at least after 50 years of “independence”. Because they have sacrificed their reservations for the sake of their religion. The AP Govt. has decided to implement English medium in govt. schools. It will help the Dalit students. They also need free books in schools. We wait our own people as teachers, and we want our own classrooms for this new English medium classes.
T.R. Azad, RO Ranjit Puri, PO Gole Gujral, Jammu – 180 002: Thank you for inviting me to the DV workshop at Shimla. Because of it, I could meet you for the first time and speak to you. My long-cherished dream has been fulfilled. Regarding J&K state, I am going to talk to DV readers for a workshop. They too would like to meet you and hear from you. There were some shortcomings at the workshop but the positive side of it was that we could interact and see, meet many dedicated and committed Ambedkarites.
M.A. Khandu (mikaf@rediffmail.com ): We liked your booklet, Muslim Failure to See Through Brahminical Tricks, by Rajendra (DSA-2002). You are right in saying Muslims have not only failed in detending against the Enemy but also recognising the Enemy. Awareness among Muslims is slowly coming.
A.H. Salunkhe, “Lokayat”, 13 – Yashvantnagar, Genda Mal, Satara – 415 002: I receive DV regularly and I congratulate you from the very bottom of my heart for the job you are doing to the cause of liberating the downtrodden masses of our society.
Gopal B. Shetty, “Aradhana”, Indrani Temple Road, Udupi – 576 102: 1 would like to arrange a seminar on your book, Caste – A Nation Within the Nation, here. Your predictions, which you have been making on several occasions, have come true in the last election. People thought your ideas were quixotic. But all those people have proved false.
Vijay Sonawane, C-2, IMTECH Colony, Sector-39A, Chandigarh – 160 036: One of the reputed private banks, Golbal Trust Bank, has developed problems. Economic experts may elaborate on the extent of the concern in this matter. None of the nationalized banks, which have implemented reservations at all levels, has developed such a problem. The myth of “merit and efficiency” in the private sector stands exposed.
Nani Gopal Sikdar, 8/14-A, R.N. Tagore Road, ‘Nabapally, Calcutta – 700 063: This refers to the Letter of S.P. Singh of Patna (DV July 16, 2004, p.14). Brother Singh has good knowledge of Indian history and details of castes, especially Dalits. With his profound knowledge, he has analysed and judged the performances of various. “national” leaders and the prime ministers. But he is wrong on my caste in Bengal i.e. Namasudra
Jyoti Basu, the cunning Kaystha, has upgraded his caste (declared shudra by the Calcutta High Coutt) to the level! of Brahmins and enjoying all powers. He has refused to give representation to SC/ST/BCs and Muslims. The CPM Govt. in Bengal has not prepared a list of Backward Classes in his state. He is placating only one BC caste. declared shudra by chance, the so- called Namasudras, by giving them all facilities and he has made them anti-Muslims. The Muslims of Bengal alone are keeping the Congress Party alive in Bengal. If the Yadavs, Kaibartas, Kurmis. Sadgopes and Tantis join hands, the Congress Party can again come to power in Bengal. –
These above remarks are not based on facts. In WB, most Hindus belong to the general caste and Muslims (majority) also belong to the same group. The rest belong to the reserved castes (SC/ST/OBCs). Nobody has declared Jyoti Basu a Brahmin. He is elected by the people and the majority of the elected MILAs including the 78 SC/STs, made him the CM. This is neither upgrading nor any undue favour. It proves his leadership and popularity. He has not made the Namasudras anti-Muslim. The Namasudras and Muslims share Cabinet berths sitting side by side with upper caste members. Initially the WB Govt. did not prepare the OBC list and was hesitant. But now the list has been prepared, and the listed castes are enjoying the facilities. Chaturvarna is strictly observed in WB where all varnas exist but only a few belong to the Kshatriya and Baishyas. Most of the people come under the sudras including the Namasudras and other Scheduled Caste people. Nobody is showing any favour to Namasudras. If they have secured positions, it is because of their own struggle. The major Dalit caste of WB, besides the Namasudras, are Paundra Kshatiryas, Rajbanshis, Kaibartas also Sadopas. But Jadavs, Kurmis and Tantis are rarely available. All the SC/ST/OBCs are having adequate reservation in politics and services. No special favour to Namasudras. S.P. Singh’s remarks will only promote jealousy, ill will and hatred. The Namasudras have been persecuted and butchered in millions and driven out of East Bengal.
Rev. L.M. Ramajan, Administrative Office, Omega Hope Ministry, Sonapali, Dhankauda, Sambalpur – 768 101: We belong to a poor society and run a children’s home-cum-residential school in a rented house for the poor, orphan, SC/ST children. For want of money we can’t have our own library. We need support to read the books of Dr. Ambedkar.
Anil Rangari, Bharati Apts., Guru Nanak Nagar, Durg – 491 001: The BJP-led Govt. never cared for the human rights of Dalit-Bahujans during their rule. You have rightly said that the NDA Govt. had not a single economic programme but their policy was Brahminical: socio- cultural-emotional issues like ban on conversion, cow slaughter, Ayodhya, slaughter of Muslims and Christians, re-writing history, swadeshi, vastu shastra, imposing astrology and Karmakand, promoting vegetarianism, Sanskrit, brainwashing youth with Hindu cock and bull stories, installing free TV sets in North-East and Tribal- arca’s to hinduise the non-Hindus and hundred and one other schemes. (DV July 1, 2004, p.17). Liberalisation and market economy is a WTO policy implemented in India by Dr. Manmohan Singh when he was the finance minister. Now he himself is the PM. Can he work for social justice by implementing LPG which is a fascist economy giving no room for social justice? Already 95% India’s land, industry, trade, wealth and property and power are monopolised by the upper castes. When one with Rs. 15,000 pm salaries cannot afford to send his child to a private medical or engineering college, what will happen to common people? Over 50 crores of Indians do not know what is share market and corporate sector. Dr. Manmohan Singh’s party is supported by fake .marxists who are Brahaminwadi’s. They will not tolerate wanted social justice.
Ram Deo, 1/1 – Vikas Nagar, Lucknow – 226 022: This refers to S.C. Panda’s Letter (DV July 1, 2004, p.16) on Sanskrit. Ravana knew more Sanskrit than Ram or any other Aryan. Brahmins used their cunning and foul means to keep the books of knowledge away from others. Sanskrit was never a language of the masses. Nor was it a spoken language. As it was used for deceiving the people and keeping the methodology secret, there is nothing to be proud about it. Because all the literature was with Brahmins and that to in their secret language, Sanskrit. Editor V.T. Rajshekar has rightly analysed the various castes and concluded that “every caste is a nation by itself”. India can never become a nation in true sense as the 6,000 castes can never unite to form a Hindu community. Brahmins were alien Aryans eating beef and indulging in slaughtering the animals in the name of sacrifice in various yaguas. Brahmins and Brahminism are two different things. A Brahmin when humanized will leave Brahminism while a non-Brahmin follows Brahminism with the false hope of upgrading his social status. The most vital defect of a Brahmin, that is Brahminism, is that he claims his superiority by birth, thinks that intelligence and merit are born with him and hence he looks down upon non-Brahmins and even hates them. That is why Dr. Ambedkar, the father of free India, to rescue them. But the process of rescuing them involves the destruction of Brahminism. A man who is sinking and deserves to be rescued cannot be consulted. We need not wait for his consent. The rescuer does it voluntarily in the name of humanity and sacred work. It is stupid to question Dr. Ambedkar’s authority for doing a favour to his sick countrymen. A man who is trapped in a burning house is not consulted before saving him. No one says Brahmins are the enemy of India. Only Brahminism is condemned, which is practiced by even non-Brahmins. Brahminism is a mixture of nazism, fascism, racism and communalism. Any attempt to reform such a society must have a clash with Brahminism.
K. Srikanth, BD-II, Room No.133, United Theological College, Millers Road, Bangalore – 560 046: During my long absence from Bangalore, I learnt many thought- provoking things by heart from your writings. I am happy to inform you that I am going to complete all your writing. In fact, I showed, demonstrated, explained, readout your writings to my friends, relatives. The miracle produced by your thought is 56 students are being well taken care of by my uncle (headmaster) and his friends. Five months ago, we opened a library, and every family is contributing to its growth. We bought six books of Babasaheb Ambedkar. In the beginning, many showed interest but gradually the number decreased which made me take greater interest in the thoughts of Babasaheb and VTR. My friends and relatives are indeed excited by your writings. There are many things to share about my duty to educate my blood brothers. In all, 21 members (Dalits) got converted into Budhism, two into ‘Christianity. Your words are not going to end up in smoke but in fact it is changing the destiny of this country. The only thing I need to do at this time is to let all know who VTR is, who Dr. Baba is.
Neerav Patel, 4 – Hemang Park, Vejalpur, Ahmedabad – 380051: Leave read Shyam Sunder’s just published book, Bhoo Devataoun Ka Manifesto, and its preface by Murtuza and the editor’s note by Shreyaskar. I think both of them lack knowledge of Hindi grammer. I found some silly mistakes. B. Shyam Sunder’s spelling does not have uniformity – B is spelt Bi and Bee. But let me congratulate the printer who has done a nice job of layout, selection of aesthetic fonts etc. I will definitely write a review of the book.
Brajendra Nath Mallick, 51/2C – RN Tagore Road, Calcutta – 700 063: I have been doing research on the early life of Dr. Ambedkar in Bengali, a part of which has been published in the monthly, Adal Badal. At the 96th birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar, I composed 96 rhymes covering the complete life of Babasaheb in a book titled, Chharaye Chhariye Ambedkar. 1 won Adal Badal “annual prize for literature in 1998 and 1999.1 obtained Haridashi Memorial Literary Prize in 2002 and Mahatma Jotiba Phule Literary Award 2003 for my Dalit novel, Kalar Mandis.
Dr. Ram Lal Jassi, B1/959 – Mohalla Ram Nagar, Jalandhar – 144 008: DV of July I, 2004, has a “Document” on Shivaji’s empire wrecked by Brahminism. This article forms chapter 13 of the marvellous book, Menace of Hindu Imperialism by Swami Dharma Thirtha. I first read this book in the year 1959 when I was a college student. The book was highly popular in Punjab and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar applauded it as most of the views of the author echoed his own feelings. Every social reformer of the day should read this book. The title of the book was later changed to History of Hindu Imperialism (Blumoon Books, New Delhi) in subsequent editions.
Chandrakumar D. Kamble, A/29 – Pote Apt. No.2, Kalyan (E) – 421 306: I am 1n touch with Dalit Voice and your books for one year. Only a few books of yours are translated into Hindi. I request that all books may be made – available in Hindi so as to reach your revolutionary. literature to the masses. There is a confusion over the Mool Nivasi theory (that all SC/ST/BCs are original natives of India, and the Brahmins are foreigners) among the Ambedkarites. Some oppose this theory by quoting Dr. Ambedkar -while some organisations (like BAMCEEF, BSP) are using this theory in their movement. Brahmins are. taking advantage of this confusion and weakening the Ambedkarite movement. Please explain the correct position.
Brother Kamble says some Dalits are opposing the Mool Nivasi RTheory by quoting Dr. Ambedkar; to clear the confusion, you must reef us the exact quotation of Babasaheb and from where it is faken. in DV, we have no confusion. Brahmins can created confusion in only those people who are willing of be confused. As for translating our books info Hindi 1his has 1o be done by such missionaries who feel the need of spread our thoughts of bring about social transformation. We can’t do it. We have neither the knowledge of Handl; nor the money and the time — EDITOR.
K. Sivadasan, Rationing Inspector, Taluk Supply Office, Totipalmate – 679 101: Here in Kerala, the state is rocked by the suicide of Rajani S. Anand, a Dalit lady engineering student. The Left parties have held a Dalit Minister, in charge of the Dept., responsible for her death. All political parties are making a capital out of her death and destroying public. Property. I am facing frustration. Even though I get a tiny light from DV, I am unable to foresee any chances for liberation of the Dalit Bahula’s in Palakkad, SC/ST’s are in deep slumber. Our seniors and leaders are unhelpful. I met some educated, employed, retired Dalits but they are putting forward all sorts of excuses for their indifference. They expect the leaders to guide them, but leaders are not interested. Socio-cultural change is the need of the hour. Our former President, Dr. K.R. Narayanan, was elected to the Lok Sabha from Totipalmate (Palakkad dt.) The impact of DV is vast and much more than our expectation. I am seeking your guidance in this utter darkness.
Kerala is the worst caste-infected state in the country and its marxist leadership enslaved rue Ezhavas and Dalits. How did these solidly anti- Dalit communists suddenly fall in love with our Dalit girl? Is it because they wanted of use her suicide to get rid of a Dalit Minister? — EDITOR.
