Perhaps, if he is made to mix with people from different States his movement towards the BSO may be retarded, thus creating a more conscious literate Dalit movement with funds also not being much of a problem, since they are professionals and may definitely have a good income. Vijaya Raju, Visvanatha, AP-521 215: I never expected that my article would be published as a guest editorial. If it was some other editor, my article would have gone to the dust bin. I have seen some editors who did not publish my articles but copied some parts and published it as their own. Zionists are merciless people. So, we must expose Zionism and also write on Jewish nationalism. In Dr. Ambedkar’s writings, we find references from the Old Testament and also New Testament. Babasaheb made a deep study of the Bible and the Jewish people. The study of the Jewish history will help a lot for the struggle of Dalits. The German Christian journal from which I borrowed my thesis is taking a revolutionary stand. Like DV it opposed the Gulf War exposing President Bush’s New World Order. You had then (24.2.92) written a letter congratulating them for speaking the language of DV. These Christian people want to establish the new kingdom of Christ on earth after his second arrival and so are in preparation. They believe that the chosen “Israels betrayed god. So, the people who live according to his teachings as corrected upon 1989 are considered New Israelites. (Wurzburg), their headquarters and places nearby, are considered as new Israel. So, they believe that Christ arrives on earth in Germany but not in Jerusalem. So (Wurzburg) is considered the New Jerusalem. They do not try to convince anybody. They want to live according to the Sermon on the Mount. The journal is very good. Thought-provoking with naked facts and truth. Just like DV. They have a deep knowledge of Indian society. They say India is rotten. When asked about their journal and the good material in it, they say they are guided by Christ. DV must join hands with this journal.
S.R. Talukdar, New Delhi: This refers to Qurban Ali Zamindar (DV Jan.16. 1993) letter. He is angry with Kanchi Ram for Rams “inability” to protect Babri Masjid from the attack of the Hindu nazis. I do not take this as an ager, rather I take it as a compliment. Zamindar was not angry with VP Singh nor with Ram Vilas Paswan or any other politician who all claimed to be “protectors” of the Muslims. He was angry only with Kanchi Ram. This proves that he expected a lot from BSP chief but not from others. Indirectly, this is expressing faith in the BSP is which trying channelize this power of the people. He is trying to unite the disadvantaged sector Indian population comprising 85% of the total pin. He is still far away from his target.

That is just after Madani came out of the hospital. Unfortunately, I did not keep the paper cutting. But many of my Muslims as well as Dalit friends had read it. Very rarely we get leaders of Madani’s caliber in the Muslim world. We as Dalits have a bounden duty to support them. That is why I. was shocked when I read his statement. I admire ISS and its leader.
K. Prabhakara Rao, 6/289, Vaddepeta, Markapur, AP-523 316: I am sending you some extracts from the book, (History of India) by Prof. N.K. Sinha and Prof. A.N. Banerjee (1944, AMC, Calcutta) which proves that the Dravidians are the children of the Indian soil and the Aryans are aliens. In the first paragraph of Chapter li, Al Biruni, the famous Muslim scholar who recorded events in India when he visited the country in 11th century, commented on the nature of Aryans/ Hindus/nazis that they lacked historical accuracy of facts and when pressed took to tale-telling. The ill chapter is devoted to the description of the Dravidians and Indus civilization. The Section I of Chapter IV deals with the Aryan settlements in India. It says Aryans came to India through Kaibar, Gomal and Bolan passes in the northwest, which provided passages io the successive invaders from Aryans to Ahmad Shah Adali and dominated over the indigenous races. These invaders naturally followed the Ganges and extended their power to the whole of northern India.

Crimes rampant everywhere. The next target is the majestic statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar standing before the Parliament House. They will topple that statue declaring unhesitatingly that it is erected on the holy site where the holy wife of the Holy Ram is lying buried and the site should be purified by the Holy Ganges water, the Holy cow urine and the Holy cow-dung. The time is not far. The Constitution will be scrapped and it will be thrown into © the rubbish heap of history. DV has given this warning.

Every subscriber of DV, if convinced of its contents, should have commitment and honesty in the sacred mission and must have the will to propagate Ambedkar’s in its right spirit and maintain continuity of the purpose. I am doing it in my humble way. If every subscriber does this, the circulation of DV will certainly increase and the caravan will move further.;

Yadav, New Delhi: The Dalai Lama, who claims to be the leader of the Buddhists, showed his true anti Buddhist color when he recently declared, in connection with the ongoing Mahabodhi temple struggle, that Buddhism is merely a part of Hinduism. He believes that by making such insane declarations he can flatter the Brahminical fascists, merely to win their support to re-establish the oppressive feudal order in Tibet. However, the Dalai Lama was recently delivered a rude shock when the leading priests of Hindu temples of South India refused to let him enter them on the ground that he is Buddhist and not a Hindu. According to a report in the Statesman (Jan. 18 1993), the Dalai Lama was recently on a visit to Trivandrum, where he sought to pray at church, a mosque and a Hindu temple. He was able to pray at the St. Joseph’s Catholic cathedral and the nearby Muslim Mosque. But no Hindu temple priest was willing to let him enter the temples. The report says that, “But the important Hindu temples in the city had no time for the Dalai Lama because he is not a Hindu”. This conclusively proves that Buddhists are not Hindus, and that Buddhism is not part of Hinduism. This being the case, the “Hindus” have no right whatsoever to usurp. the Buddhist Mahabodhi temple. Also, this shows that the Dalai Lama has been grossly distorting Buddhism (by wrongly proclaiming it to be part of Hinduism) merely to win the Brahminical fascists’ support so as to re-establish his feudal empire in Tibet. For him, Buddhism is Nat at all important and he is quite willing to distort it for his own petty ends.
Nathuni Yadav Vill. Simari (West), dt. Madhubani, Bihar, – 847 222: More I read, more I become interested in reading your literature which provide glimpses of Aryan exploitation. Identifying the enemy (“Laloo names the enemy”, DV Dec.1 92) and not awarding crushing defeat to them accelerates the rate of exploitation, widening the gap existing between the deprived and the privileged. I became victim of this. The news that Phoolan Devi, the saviors of the downtrodden, was debarred from “breeding” more Phoolan’s gave heart-rending shock to me. May I hope that the crying humanity shall survive the predicament?
Q.A. Zameenzad, New Delhi: The destruction of the Babri Masjid and the gory anti-Muslim violence that followed it have very clearly shown that the ruling Savarna Hindu castes and their govt. will, henceforth, never let the Muslims breathe a moment of peace. In such a critical situation, the decision of certain leading Muslim religious leaders demanding separate settlement for the Muslims is to be warmly welcomed. However, I feel that since itis not only the Muslims who are oppressed by the Brahminical villains but also the Dalits and Backward Castes, the scope of the proposed separate settlement should be made wider. Let the (Savarnas) be confined to a few areas, and let the Muslims, BCs, tribals and Dalits be accorded one common territory which would comprise 85% of the total area of India, since these groups comprise 85% of the population. Being delivered from the malignant presence of the satanic (Savarna) “Hindus”, I am confident that the Dalits, BCs, tribals and Muslims will be able to live in harmony with each other. As regards DV’’s appeal to Muslims to abide by the Quranic injunction of self-defense against oppression, one can only say that certain self-appointed leaders of the community are today preaching restraint merely to preserve their own vested interests. However, the Muslims need to understand that since it is basically the Savarnas who are their oppressors, violence in self-defense needs to be directed not against the BCs, tribals and Dalits. Unfortunately, the Muslim leaders have done nothing by way of educating the Muslims about this. Nor have they identified the enemy – brahmanvad.
