After reading these books, we could not hold our tears back. Now, we know what is really going on in India, especially the problem of the Untouchables and their suffering and misery. We discussed all these _in our general meeting and most of our people were simply shocked to know the facts from your books. Dalit Voice is bringing us the day-to-day happenings in India. We are very much interested in getting introduced to the revolutionaries in India.
Africans must know that if the most horrible form of apartheid is existing anywhere in the universe it is not in S. Africa but in India. But India’s ruling class is bluffing the world. Over 85% India’s people are its original inhabitants who in the Constitution of India are called Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Castes. Even its “religious minorities” like Muslims, Christians and Sikhs are converts from its SC/ST/BCs. The less than 15% ruling class are alien Aryans who control everything including our brains through the media they own. The ruling class is trying to get a new lease of life by joining hands with the world’s western white racists and Zionists, welcoming the New World Order to further enslave its over 85% already oppressed population. This fact must be made known to the world because liberation of the Untouchables of India would release so much of energy that will be too willing to heat up the boiling cauldron that is Africa, the cradle of world civilisation. Once Africa wakes up, it will be the beginning of world revolution. So, right now the Africans must consider the Black Untouchables of India, both having a common origin, as your own brothers and esters and plan out joint strategies — EDITOR.

I have seen no other paper of its kind and quality like DV exposing mass deception and giving vent to the concerns and hardships of the silent majority of the peoples of India. DV gives food to my thoughts and influences my writings. Unfortunately, many other people who should be interested in DV are unaware of or not resourceful enough to be able to subscribe to DV. * So, I am sending one year subscription for 11 persons in India who are mostly Kerala Thays’s.

This book is so important that Dalits in India must read it in their own language. So, we plan to get it translated to Marathi, Hindi and Telugu. It may be pried and distributed free of cost among Dalits. The book is a masterpiece. Dalit-Muslim unity is very urgent.
The book has been already translated to Urdu and Malayalam and the copies are already sold out. The book is very essential to understand the mind of the oppressor and why it is behaving in that particular way. Not only that. The book is important even to Hindus to understand why they are sick and how their sickness is killing them also — EDITOR.

Is there any chance of saving DV by raising the price of DV from Rs. 4 to Rs. 5 and the annual subscription to Rs- 1257 I cannot think of a day passing without DV. Our ~ experience of ten years shows that DV has been” very ably and courageously advocating our cause, and our oppressor has understood for the first time our inherent strength. The rich religious minorities must now rush to save DV because it is defending their cause better than they could do. I am prepared” to carry out any decision that you take.
V. I. Itchier, Telecom. Dept. Microalgae, AP-508 207: I was shocked to read that DV is sinking. I am sure all the subscribers will have no objection to pay “an increased subscription.
We have received many letters, ‘telegrams, phone calls expressing such a feeling. We are deeply touched by this expression of solidarity. But mere sympathy cannot save DV. Nor by raising the price and annual subscription of DV. Since DV is not getting advt., which is the only income for a paper, it has to survive merely on circulation revenue. Since the circulation is not adequate enough to sustain the publication, other efforts have to be made to keep it going. Only very few persons responded to our appeal for life-membership by paying Rs.1,000. If – all our subscribers become life-members that would be a good gesture. But more than that, DV can no longer remain as the efforts of few individuals. It has to put on an institutional foundation. A project report has been prepared but no taker so far. The Aryans are having a total monopoly on the media through which they have ™ been spreading falsehood and poisoning the country. > Any amount of our effort to impress this point on the victims of the Aryan blood-suckers have gone waste. Day-by-day Brahminism is gaining upper hand. What can we do if the slaves of India want to enjoy their slavery ? We have done our job — EDITOR.

Mani Gopal Das, Calcutta: ) endorse the suggestion made by Brother Hockaday N.R. (DV May 16 ’91 p.13) regarding inter-caste marriages among all Untouchable sects and sub-sects. I had made this suggestion at the All-India Dalit Writers Conference at Hyderabad (1989) and you were also present. For the time being, SCs and STs can be considered as two branches of the same tree. After some time even these two should get merged to acquire further strength. When the 20% plus 10% SC/STs come together, the Hindus will be frightened to submission.

Gopuras, Muvattupuzha, Kerala: The article by Igbal Ahmed Sheriff on the New World Order (DV Nov. 1) was superb and was also topical when the “Hindu nazis are hell bent to demolish the Babri Masjid and thereby humiliate the entire Muslim world. Once they are allowed to touch it, then they will put their hand on Taj Mahal, Kuttab Minar etc. I think these less than’10% of the Brahminical social order must * be given a separate “Hindu homeland”, so that they can leave the rest of the 85% non-Hindus to live in peace.
S. R. Talukdar, New Delhi: You are pleading for Dalit-Sikh unity but how can that be possible when casteism is so strong among the Sikhs? It is true that there is no discrimination inside the gurdwara but outside, the Sikhs are as bad as the Hindus. I am seeing this daily in our office and locality in Delhi. ~ Some Sikhs are also supporting the Hindu campaign for Ram Mandir. Upper caste Sikhs even today look down upon Dalit-Sikhs.

A. Elankovan, Shaktinagar, Raichur, Karnataka: For any group of individuals, to weave a net the basic need is communication. The unity of the oppressed in India is suffering only because we have no means of communication. Upper caste rulers are all united only because they have built their communication network through English language which they have monopolised keeping us out. Backward Castes like the SC/STs are original inhabitants of India and hence they are also Untouchables. They are neither Sudras nor Hindus. Like the SCs, they too should accept Babasaheb Ambedkar as their leader and Ambedkar’s as their philosophy. SC/ST/BCs (65%) plus the Muslims/Christians/Sikhs (20%) are all blood relations. The unity of the original inhabitants of India is the urgent need of the hour to counter the Aryan terrorism to further divide India and destroy its unity and integrity — EDITOR.

Hosur, Chamarajanagar, Karnataka-571 115: Sanjay Khan, a noted Muslim TV serial producer who became famous through his Sword of Tipu Sultan and almost got himself burnt by the Hindu nazis who set fire to the studio itself at Mysore where he was shooting the Tipu film, has turned a nazi admirer. He has announced that to appease the nazis he is producing the Return of the Aryans based on the novel of Bhagvan Gidwani. In a press statement, Khan said he wanted to prove that Aryans were also original inhabitants of India and that they were not colonials or invaders. That means Sanjay Khan is also a nazi agent if not an Aryan-Muslim himself. I call upon Muslim readers of DV to protest against this and see that Sanjay Khan stops this action which will deeply hurt the over 85% non-Hindu/non-Aryan original inhabitants of India. Sanjay Khan’s statement has appeared in the Kannada film journal, Roopa Thara. Shamsuddin Alvi, Madras: I am a great lover of DV, and its Editor is my hero. So, I have a right to warn the Editor: In the past you had been criticising only Brahminism which you identified as the “principal contradiction”. But lately, you have started attacking, Muslims, Sikhs and even your close friend Veeramani, Dravida Kazashi chief. That means you are increasing your enemies. That is why DV is dying.
In DV, we are guided solely by the pursuit of justice and truth. In the Gulf War on behalf of the oppressed Muslims, we attacked US for its aggression on Iraq. But at that time, the elite Muslims supported the aggressor, US, which we had to denounce in the interest of upholding justice and truth. We proved right. The elite Muslims, who form not even 5% of the total Muslim population of the country, are mostly with the ruling class. We had never criticised Veeramani whom we always held in high esteem. The Bangalore Papatti launched a state terrorism in Tamil Nadu and all fake Piarists succumbed to it. We are sure Veerman will revive Priapism and fight the Aryans. That is why we said TN will prove to be the graveyard of Aryans in India. It is for Veeramani to take up this challenge that will give him a place in history next only to that of Pereyra — EDITOR.

Madani Saheb is one of our very first subscribers right from 1981 and also a frequent contributor. As an old veteran member of the Jam ate-Islami, he has been one of our very great supporters. Like him quite a number of ‘our subscribers became old, blind, ill. Some like Dr. Donald McGivern of the Fuller Theological College, Pasadena, California, and Maulana Mohammed Yusuf, the All-India president of the Jam ate-Islami, who once wrote us a hand-written 120-page letter, are dead. – ~ Moulana Jaffer Ali, principal of the Al-Ameen College here who introduced us to the glories of Islam and was responsible for bringing India’s most famous Muslim saint, Moulana Hasan Ali Navi of Lucknow to release the very first issue of DV, is also dead. The other great man is Sardar Jagjit Singh Sidhwa, the author of the great book, “Sikh Revolution” , also has become too old. When we were in the Chandigarh Jail, this great thinker and scholar, used to daily came to the Jail, sit outside and weep whole day. So great was his love and admiration for our work. We are proud of our family. We remember all these great souls, living and dead, and pay our tributes — EDITOR.

But alas the very next month I read the “heart-breaking news” that brought tears in my eyes. Will it not be possible to appeal for donations? How many subscribers are needed to balance the DV? How much money is needed to save DV?

Today, the “Modern Sankara” is trying to kill Babasaheb Ambedkar, the greatest Indian after the Buddha. The first Sankara had chosen a very dirty way to drive out Buddhism and Jainism from their motherland. The Aryan fascist movement in India, which had showed its ugly face in capturing Tirupati temple and Sabarimala temple, was started by Adi Sankara, a Kerala Namboodiri Brahmin. The United Democratic Front, the ruling party of Kerala — which is a water and oil combination of the disciples of Gandhi, the Gujarati Bania who called our people children of Devadasis (or bastards), the followers of M.A. Jinnah and some rubber-estate owners of Kottayam district — has decided to give a reward to the murderer of Buddha by starting a Sanskrit University at Kaldi. The education minister of the – “Muslim” League and “Christian” leaders of the Kerala Congress (M) are hand-in-hand with the Hindu leaders of the Congress (I) party in this act. Alas, the first language university in Kerala, which is part of the Dravida land, will be a Sanskrit university. Not a Malayalam university. Ayurveda, an ancient medical science, which had grown up by using fertilisers given by: followers of Buddhism and Jainism like Nag Bhatta, Hurditya, etc., is going to be a part of the Sankara University !!! The Hindu nazi govt. of Uttar Pradesh is all ready to assist financially. So, all thinkers and workers of Dalit movement in Kerala should wake up and oppose this attempt to honour the murderer of Buddha. This is an insult to the indigenous peoples of India.

His articles appear in the Radiance weekly and its translation in the Malayalam daily, Madhyama. Why don’t you convince him about the real percentage of Hindu population in India?
