Just opposite the residence of Shiv Sena nazi chief, Bal Thackray, a mosque was there at Kala Nagar, Bandra, for 25 years. More than once the nazis had burnt the mosque but Faiz Ali Shaheen with his children and Muslim friends had pushed the nazis back.
A case is going on in the Bombay High Court. The Bombay Municipal Corporation is pleading to widen the road and demolition of the mosque and the house of Faiz Ali Shaheen.
The Court gave its judgment that Shaheen is allotted ten days’ time up to Sept. 6 to file a petition against the demolition order. If he fails to file a petition, the authorities may demolish the mosque and the house after the expiry of the allotted time but before the demolition an accommodation to Shaheen must be provided in Bombay.
Thackeray was present: This was the High Court order but Collector Suresh Salvy did not wait for the expiry date fixed by the court and on Aug.27 with the help of hundreds of police he demolished the mosque, and also Shaheen’s house. Hundreds of Shiv Sena nazis helped the police.
The Collector ignored the court order. He did not wait for the expiry of the date and before the demolition he did not provide accommodation to Shaheen. Bal Thackeray was present as the demolition operation was going on, just as Advani was prevent at the Babri Masjid demolition. The order of the Supreme Court was violated at Ayodhya on Dec.6. The Hindu nazis said Hindus are above law, above court and above the Constitution. The demolition of the Kala Nagar, Bandra, Madina Mosque has paved the way for the demolition of Babri Masjid.
Dalit-Muslim Unity: The only way- out is a strong and unbreakable Dalit- Muslim unity. Fake secularism of Nehru, Gandhi and Azad cannot save the Muslims of India from the “Spanish experiment” being tried in India. Our Muslims leaders are humbugs. Kick them out.
