Bangalore: Karnataka’s three ruling upper castes Brahmins, Lingayats and Vokkaligas never liked Chief Minister Bangarappa. Having been always. rulers, they somehow wanted to get rid of this Backward Caste (toddy-tapper community of Idigas) man and the State’s brahminical press has been gunning at him for the past one year. Everyday these toilet papers put out one or other story about the impending “removal of Bangarappa but he is going strong.
The complaint by these corrupt and communal press and the people is that Bangarappa is corrupt. But they don’t want to speak about Kunta Hegde’s Rs. 1,300 crore all-India record and conviction by three judicial commissions.
All the noise is only in the press. All the problems. are created by this jati press. Any political leader working for SC/ST/BCs and Muslims becomes a victim of this yellow press. Those leaders afflicted by the press are V.P. Singh, Antulay, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Bangarappa, Lalloo Prasad Yadav. They all know that they are victims of the press. But nobody is taking any steps to discipline this irresponsible anti-people press. Today it is the jati-press that is ruling India.
