Justice Katju to be Impeached  

New Delhi : The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes Parliamentary Forum on Aug. 12 decided to move an impeachment motion in Parliament, during the current session itself, against Justice M. Katju of the Allahabad High Court for his judgment on the job-reservation issue. (DV Edit Aug. 1 92 on Katju verdict). Briefing newsmen after the Forum meeting, Forum Convenor Arvind Netam (Cong-l) and Ram Vilas Paswan (JD) said a three-member committee, comprising Buta Singh and B.P. Maurya (Cong-I) and S.P. Gautam (BJP), had been constituted to draft the motion (Deccan Herald Aug. 13).
